How to validate my patent in Cyprus?

Once the EPO is granted designating Cyprus, then the patent must be validated in Cyprus accordingly.

Validation of a European patent includes:

a) Filing the relevant form
b) accompanied by the translation in the Greek language of the European patent as published in the European Patent Bulletin,
c) the translator’s affidavit and
d) the PCT application.

A duly signed Power of attorney is also required.

The application for validation must be filed within a three-month time limit, commencing from the date of publication of the European patent in the European patent bulletin.
