IP Cyprus joins IIPLA Congress

IP Cyprus joined the International Intellectual Property Lawyers Association (IIPLA) Annual Congress that took place between 5-6 January 2015 in Dubai.

As the subject of the Meeting was “Accelerating International IP Cooperation” the participants, presented their arguments and discussed their approaches in a number of intellectual property matters and exchanged ideas and advice about the current legal challenges of intellectual property law.

The Meeting analysed the latest development regarding patents and technology transfers, key provisions in software licensing, social media and intellectual property law, IP as the basis for forming a new company and patenting and exploiting oil and gas.

IP Cyprus, which is the only Cyprus Member of IIPLA, will continue investing in such prominent legal events, in order to be updated about any legal matters and thus to encourage and assist the Cypriot entrepreneurship and innovation spirit.
