Our Partner Maria Ioannides, has been named as a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) Trademark Office Practices Committee (TOPC) for the term 2018-2019.
TOPC consists of ten subcommittees focused on promoting relationships with trademark offices in Africa, the Asia-Pacific region, Canada, China, Europe national offices, India, Latin America, Madrid, the EU and the United States.
The TOPC evaluates trademark office practices, procedures, operations and regulations at the national, regional and international levels, and develops and advocates policies to improve such practices, procedures, operations and regulations. The committee will monitor trademark office developments in various jurisdictions, complete analyses and propose policy recommendations to the INTA’s Board.
